I cannot believe it been a year since Allie and Judah’s beautiful Spring wedding at Partrick Henry college in Purcellville VA. Northern Virginia is one place I would happily travel to a couple of times a year. So, when I was asked to shoot my niece Allie’s wedding at the venue where I had exchanged vows six years prior, to say I was excited was an understatement. It was so fun to capture this couple’s wedding vows at the same place my husband and I had made our own vows.

Allie and Judah’s wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. From the moment the day began, it was clear that their faith, family, and friends were at the heart of everything.

One of the most special parts of their wedding was how they made it completely their own. Instead of following every tradition, they focused on what was most meaningful to them. For their reception, rather than a traditional first dance, they had a worship session. It was an incredible and heartfelt moment that set the tone for the rest of the celebration.

Their wedding was filled with so many beautiful, personal touches. Allie’s sister made the most amazing cake—the same one she made for mine! 😊 Her aunts and uncles took care of the flowers and decorations, making everything look absolutely stunning. The live music was also a collaboration among family and friends.

And let’s talk about the food—because they had the longest, most gorgeous charcuterie board I have ever seen! They truly did an incredible job with every detail.

But beyond the decorations and details, what truly stood out was the love that surrounded them. They were blessed with such wonderful family and friends who poured their hearts into making the day special. And for the little kids, the highlight of the night wasn’t the food or the flowers—it was the bouncy house, which completely stole the show!
